Reading Trans Movement is an activist group in Reading.

The Reading Trans Movement exists to turn Reading and its immediately surrounding areas into the most trans-welcoming place to live in the UK, through promoting trans inclusion, and through organising against trans-exclusion or the acceptance and advocacy of trans-exclusion or trans genocide.

The group initially came together over the span of two days to oppose a talk held at the University of Reading which argued in favour of the torture of trans people. You can learn more about the circumstances of the groups founding here.

Protestors gathered at the first Reading Trans Movement campaign
