The following document the previous campaigns led by Reading Trans Movement. It may not be comprehensive, as write-ups of events are performed by volunteers and not all events are able to be documented fully.
Reading’s transgender community and its supporters marched through town to mark International Transgender Day of Visibility.
On the 11th of February 2023, a young trans girl named Brianna Ghey was murdered in a transphobic attack. Trans communities across the country came together to mourn and show solidarity.
Students and members of the public gathered outside a talk promoting the torture of trans people given at the University of Reading by owner of website encouraging hate crime.
